What is "Cristo'Control" ?


An air conditioning installation or a refrigeration plant with thermal energy storage is a global system with high performances and high efficiency. This system brings economic and energy management values to the end user by reducing operating costs.

To get an optimum operation of the system and to maintain this optimized operation in time a “smart” controller must be used. The control system must also be able to measure and monitor the performances and to provide preventive maintenance to the facility manager (on site or by remote management).

With more than 20 years of expertise in the field of Thermal Energy Storage Cristopia has specially developed this new control system “Cristo’Control”.

Cristo'Control ensures:

 

       1) Automatic management of authorized mode of operation (TES strategy of use)

According to preset parameters (time, electrical tariff, cooling demand, energy available in the STL, etc...) Cristo'Control chooses the operating mode.


2) Control of the components of the refrigeration plant (located on the primary side of the plate heat exchanger)

Cristo'Control controls all the components of the refrigeration plant located on the primary side of the plate heat exchanger, including the chiller (ON/OFF, change of temperature set-point), regulation of the 3-way-valve, openings and closings of the valves, etc…


 

 

     3)  The reporting of alarms and defects

Sending of messages of alarms and defects to the company in charge of the installation maintenance by phone, fax, email, etc...

 

 

      4) Real time monitoring

Real time monitoring of the installation: current mode of operation, position of valves, operation of chiller …

Connection (via RS 485) to BMS with sending of all parameters available. The monitoring can also be done via our web site www.cristocontrol.com with refreshing of data by mousse click.


        5) Term storage of operating parameters and measured data

The long term storage of data gives access to:

- periodic energy consumption of the installation,

- analysis and optimization of the operation of the installation according to the evolution of the cooling demand,

- analysis of the causes of derives from normal operation and corrections.
